As a starting point for this wiki and to retain some site integrity we have locked some of the pages so that only our Local Studies staff at the Central Libary in Leeds can edit the content.
In many of the other sections we have opened up editing rights so that anyone can contribute content.

Creating a Page
As an example : -
Say you have some information about your old school in Beeston, click on the beeston link in the navigation bar - this opens up the first Beeston page and may already have some general information about Beeston in it.
Then click on the Add new page link and create a new page called Beeston Schools, this means that Beeston schools will appear on the site as a sub-group in the Beeston section.

Creating a new area section
If you have information about an area not listed at all in the navigation bar, click on the home button and then click on the add new page link, this means a new section based on an area in Leeds will be created.
Once you have found the correct location for your information you can then use the EasyEdit button to add your information, don't forget to click save when you have finished.
