former chairman of Leeds School Board. Hunslet Hall Road School, opened in the 1890's. Hunslet Lane School opened 14th March 1895. Cross Flatts School opened 1905. Hunslet Moor School opened 1909.

Bewerley Street School - first one to be built by the old Leeds School Board, opened August 8th, 1873.
Hunslet Carr School - Foundation stone laid November 1874. Replaced by a new school in the 1990's.
Low Road School, opened 1878.
South Accommodation Road School, opened 9th January 1874.
